Has anyone bought any electronics or TV by online vendors such as tech for less? What are the risks? I think there generally coverage through credit card if anything goes wrong?

I have always bought online or picked up in store. Key is to pay with a credit card that offers some purchase protection. Many cards offer 90 days theft, damage or loss protection. This can be used if device goes bad after first 10 days or 30 days (usual store policy).

Some cards also double up your manufacturer's warranty. Ex. America Express does this on some cards.

Risks are credit card data theft at retailer but that one is easy to sort out as your transactions are covered and you are not liable.

I have not had good luck honestly. Damage is the big concern and Every time I order speakers, receivers, etc. Something is always damaged

Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.

Question for funds folks, since no one is around to answer any questions and I can't seem to find this answer anywhere. Why can't a placement agent combine or integrate the offering of interests in the sponsor's fund with the contemporaneous offering of interests in another fund? Is it based on reputational risk or from a sales perspective in case someone rejects both funds, any other issues? Thanks!

Layoffs. Most big firms say they're sitting on a conservative pile of cash - which I believe is true - but work will obviously not return to pre-COVID levels in the short term, probably not even in the medium term. Are Biglaw layoffs coming?

A nice comfortable office chair.

My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest

I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
