I live in a European country where the labor law is not as protective for the employees as some other countries so no. All in all, if you want to continue working at your current company I advise you against suing them but if you are ready to leave you can consider that option as well.
However, I have started a grievance process when I felt that I was discriminated due to my disabilities. I would suggest to first raise the issue internally and request an investigation and if you are not satisfied how the process is managed internally you can go for a tribunal.
If you feel you're being discriminated against, make sure you have all the documentation and time stamps.
what you describe looks very familiar to what I see in "white" women is happening. The same fight for assistants, pay raise, office etc. Maybe it makes sense to observe, do they treat all women the same in your company? in that case you could collaborate with them and make this fight even stronger
Woc here, this happened to me. It’s important to discern if these situations are organizational inefficiency or deliberate micro aggressions. My strategy was to fight like hell to get what I want till I get it even if it was annoying people. Make them regret having me ask in the first place. I would consistently email, follow up calls just to get basic things done. I would block an hour early more in my calendar strictly to hunt things down and push people. If you’re not happy with the back pay, re-calculate it and tell them they made an error. If they say no, challenge it. I do this with medical appointments/insurance companies too. They’re all broken systems and it takes a lot of pushing and advocating for yourself to get to your end goal.

Going the legal route means having to engage in a very, very long legal battle that involves very, very expensive legal fees. What is your end goal — a promotion, a raise, revenge, money awarded to you? Figure out what your end goal is and see if it’s worth it.
When talking about microaggressions, it’s probably best to not use one yourself
I didn’t know this! Thanks for sharing.

I would first consult with a lawyer to see how feasible a suit would be. It might be hard to “prove” (legally) that their actions were the result of discrimination and not, say, incompetence. (Note I’m not saying you didn’t experience discrimination, I’ve had some of the same experiences, just that legally it could be a tricky argument.)
Talk to a lawyer. I’m so sorry this happened to you. Horrible.
If you have been waiting 8 months for a promised raise, that is not a “recent” promotion. Yow.
For the other stuff—have other people requested and gotten those items faster than you? If they are having trouble getting supplies from their vendors, that may be supply chain and not up to them. If there are fewer offices than people in your rank, are they populated by people with the most time in rank?
We also had problems to give laptops to people due to supply chain disruption after covid.
There's a bowl for women of color professionals, you'll get lots of advice there. Sorry about your experience
To give a pay raise 8 months after it should happen - is really not a good sign. I would check if the company is in a good financial form
Do your research and prepare a comprehensive presentation to your boss, presenting facts and financial discrepancies AND market comps if necessary. Be accountable for YOU! Most often, managers respond positively (and respect you) because you are presenting a productive case. Try it!
Thanks all for your replies!

I’m assuming you are in the United States
And I thought my own project management onboarding was rough. Wow.
An employment lawyer should be able to assist with the 2.5 months of back pay. You are entitled to that and should have that. Don’t let it sit. This is worthy of an EEOC complaint, state ombudsman, state attorney general grievance, turning them into the IRS, etc.
As for the other items, all I can say is wow.
How horrible. Sorry you're dealing with that.
