Omg, that would drive me insane. I would write a very polite email just outlining how things were handled prior to her joining the firm and make it clear that you are ultimately in control of your schedule - if that has been the norm for you. If the partners don’t care, I don’t think you should put too much emphasis on her preferences.

Partners may have used the new hire as an opportunity to implement new practices through her. I second the polite email, try to find out if this comes from higher up the foodchain
Yeah...no way would I put up with that.
Talk to your partner- get his/her opinion. Better to have the hammer wielded by a partner than you if the office mgr needs straightening out.
