Has anyone left PwC while they still had an outstanding Educational Support Program repayment agreement? What is the repayment process like? Am I required to pay back the amount in full the day I leave the firm or is there the ability to do a repayment agreement? I’m looking at new opportunities and would like to have my new firm take on the amount of the tuition agreement ($14,000) but don’t know how much that might limit my options.
Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

I'd never accept a counteroffer. There was a reason you were looking. Like the fact that they're underpaying you. Now they're on noticed that you're 'disloyal'. You'd be first in line for layoffs, and like you said, you wouldn't get much for raises.
If you don't like the new agency, perhaps you can come back after a period of time, but I wouldn't accept a counter. Good luck!
I completely agree with TM1. Don’t do it!
I accepted a counter offer but that's because it wasn't only for more money. It also was for fewer hours and more flexibility, which I needed as a new mom and didn't know they could offer. So if they're asking what it would take to make you stay, be honest and comprehensive.
Not sure I would accept a counteroffer. Once I’ve decided to go, I’m done and there’s not much that would make me stay. Plus in your mind you’re already “gone”. The counter won’t change why you wanted to leave in the first place.
