Yes. But the answer to most “has anyone ever” questions is probably yes.

I’ll let you know. Just had one impromptu today.

Congrats!!!

Yes, I just did. Well, I wasn’t even aware there would be a case lmao

likefunny

How did you handle it???

Prepped 2 or 3 hours before the case and passed. To be fair I had done extensive case prep 3 years prior so I knew the deal & just refreshed frameworks.

like

Friend in undergrad did. Also showed up hungover after partying the night before

They were born to be a consultant

I did. Absolutely murdered a case study with past working experience. But I will say prep is always helpful, especially getting familiar with the framework.

Yeah. I didn’t even know case prep was a thing.

First time poster here!

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I'm testing SPHR in June. Any advice for securing the type of role I'm aiming for?
