Filed for H1B extension, extension approved till aug-2024 (stamping not done), switched from tcs to infosys before stamping. I have new petition documents with me. Assuming infosys agrees to use my H1B, is there a possibility to file H1B transfer or reuse my visa.? Thanks

Anyone having luck getting out of ORD?
Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Start talking to SM's and PPDs that you know about transferring to a member firm. Where would you want to go outside of the US if that were to happen?
@ D5: I received an e-mail from the lawyer with the receipt attached. I did not follow up.
@EY3 - once you get the receipt it's an indication that your case was selected in the lottery. Since it there are 199k applicants this time and only 85k seats.
Probably depends, like NYC to London would be comparable. Chicago - London not to much
@ Oliver Wyman 1 - nope TN visa doesn't apply for my case unfortunately :(
Use wolfram as a good base http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=100000+in+NYC+moving+to+London
Received my H1B receipt from deloitte last Friday. I guess they are starting to roll it out.
@ EY 3: based on my understanding, if you visa is about to expire/ it expires and you have a case open ( for e.g.: H1B application in process ) with USCIS, you can continue to work as you will then be under what is called "Cap Gap" . However, the moment your case is rejected ( for e.g. When you receive a H1B rejection notice - indicating you didn't get picked in the lottery for instance) and your visa has expired, you will have to quit work. I am sure your firm's immigration team can advice you more on this.
Extension?
Curious. Why is it taking so long this year for H1B's? Or does it just seem that way with all the posts
If you are DD Digital Customer OP, leadership is working on contingencies.
EY1- They suspended premium processing this year, which otherwise allowed for responses within 2-3 weeks.
I started talking to PPDs and London and Canada were my two options. More inclined to U.K. for now. But I have heard I will have to take a salary cut to move. Does anyone know how much would that be for London ?
London is more expensive
@OP When I was interviewing with member firms for a full transfer the salary London was offering me was 30% less and the cost of living was 36% more
@Deloitte2 - How was it 36% more? What city did you take as a baseline?
But Europe is socialist so free healthcare
Does the TN1 apply to your situation? Most people I know at OW go for TN1 over H1B afaik
@Deloitte digital 1 - that makes sense. Now say for instance we take NYC as base, what salary cut should one expect?
TN only works for specific countries. Ideally you take no pay cut, but perhaps do some research and see how much it would cost in London bs NYC and negotiate
