I have an offer from KPMG, and I am in talks with collabera, they are offering about 35% hike which will be 100% hike from my current ctc, while KPMG offers 65% on my current ctc.

KPMG is a research and stakeholders management role and collabera offers strategy role including working direct with VP.

I know the company is pretty small when company to KPMg, should I proceed with the interview?

Recently I got a offer letter from TCS, my concer is on creating UAN number.

When I was pursuing my BTech at that time itself I have done some job as part time in a power plant so they have created an uan number for me. I have worked there for 2years approx after that I left. and also I withdraw all the amount from uan number.

I was approached with another opportunity as Sr Manager Financial Reporting at a public company for $150k and 20% bonus with a clear path to director in time. 8 YOE and live in FL. Does anyone feel so depleted after busy season/filing that you can’t move for the whole weekend after? How do you bounce back after finally crashing? I’ve been sleeping so much I can’t shake it.

Are private companies easier to work at than public companies in accounting? We have such an accelerated close deadline at the publicly traded company I’m at now, I really hate the inflexible tight deadlines and analysis seems to drag on forever after that. We also close AP/AR very early in the month yet that doesn’t stop payments/receipts from happening so we’re constantly adjusting our accruals until the end of month. Do private companies start their close after the month actually ends?
