Has anyone successfully negotiated with EY FSO group? Recently got a call saying they’re ready to push through, just needed to figure out final compensation and they provided a base and that it was “final” but i sent them an negotiations email and haven’t heard back since

I make 195 in an internal role but am applying to outside consulting opportunities. I’m an experienced manager with an mba and a cpa. How much comp should I be targeting? Thinking about asking for base of 200, bonus of 25% … reasonable? Unrealistic? Should I ask for more? I hear the market is crazy right now. Please help.

Learned on the day of the deadline to enroll, that my partner's employer offers voluntary participation on a deferred compensation plan. First time I hear of such a benefit/option after working for years! Any general (i.e. not plan-specific) lessons-learned, gotchas, pointers to offer as we will have to quickly decide to enroll or not?
