When is a 3 page resume acceptable?
I had interviewed for an internship position at EY for technology consultant program for summer 2022 and got a call where they extended an offer. I wanted to know if I can defer the internship offer to fall 2022 or a later start date after summer.
I apologize as I cannot reply to a comment or DM on this platform to anyone, but thanks for your answers in advance.

For creative I’d argue your book is much more important. I wouldn’t waste money on that personally
Idk, I guess it depends where you’re applying. If you’re dropping that resume into a portal to get machine read then sure, maybe it helps, but I’ve also heard that approach is like sending your application into a black hole and hoping for the best.
My agency doesn’t even require a college degree for creatives, and resumes are more of a formality. The only thing attention-grabbing about them is if you’ve got a Wieden or other big name on there (splashy accounts too). The work is much more important, especially as your best way to get hired is via referral.
Some of the best creatives I’ve seen have the simplest resumes and a killer portfolio (although others break through with just the right amount of personality and humor). But I’m sure someone has benefited from a resume service in creative and I just haven’t met them yet!
I've used one. I got more interviews, but after a little while things died back down. However, if the goal is to get a position/role in a career that you really want I would say exhaust all options where possible. This can be a bumpy road. I don't know where you are in your job search journey. Stay persistent. Stay prepared. Evolve with the market.
