I was doing some googling and I saw that PWC offers MBA hires 45k in comparison to MBBs at 70k +. Is this a bad joke? I can't imagine that PWC's target for MBA hires is widely different from MBB. In the US, the pay gap isn't that wide. Any reason behind this madness?

Though most of the feedback was positive, the other candidate had more direct experience with the job responsibilities (digital assets, social media, etc.) My job/company dabbles in digital but it's primarily traditional media. Targeting PM roles cause people work comes easy to me (vs applied science/MLE coding) and ops cost center budgets suck. Doing formal CS just cause wanted to learn, fill in gaps.

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? Can you shut the person down without starting a spat?
