Can anyone give an opinion about joining Cognizant Bangalore now ? I have 1.8 YoE and they are offering a pretty good hike but I have heard news like there's managerial changes happening rn and many people are leaving the firm. Your opiniors will greatly help me in making a career decision.

Is SF really that absurdly expensive? I currently live in LA and am comfortable on ~90K (single male)
Same here, 80k for me is comfortable for renting a shared apartment and saving a good chunk of earnings
People exaggerate. You can get by in and then some in SF making 140.
haha i don't know why u think so
At least $170 or more as it’s SFO. SF is not cheap.
Can’t imagine people in similar positions as I am (other entry level consultants) are really struggling to pay the rent
the catch is i dont think they will agree to it. currently being in consulting i don't feel comfortable moving to product company
$500k
Don't move to SF unless you're paid significantly higher. The cost of living is astronomical. Even the online estimators of COL don't estimate it quite high enough. Make sure you check where you're going to live, commute times, etc.
150-160. You can live comfortably in the city if you’re single with no kids (I’m from the Bay Area and have tons of friends that live in SF)
