Always donuts, unless you’re in NYC, and in that case always bagels, but never from Starbucks.

The skills will come and there’s lots of training. Think about how you want to build your network. Catch up with (or plan to) people you met through recruiting or you know from other connections. Think about the type of people you want to go to know and plan to reach out once you’ve started. A good network will help you get answers to rookie questions, think through problems, give helpful advice.

Applied for a B4 senior forensic role, but was not even granted an interview after my initial phone screen with HR; I’m confused why because i thought they needed bodies. My background includes 4 years of forensic experience on multiple investigations and program oversights, 5 years in other professional, non-forensic roles, and i have both a CFE and a CPA under my belt. The phone screen was basically HR asking if i have used google suite and tableau

Hello Googlers. Can anyone tell me more about the Product Solutions Engineer role, and the future paths that could open up should anyone start a role like this?

I have been a nurse in LTC, Blood Banking, Plasma and Assisted Living/Memory Care for 27 years. I am a HWD and have ZERO WLB.

A previous Director of mine approached me about a Clinic Position in STL. Bankers hours…She asked what I would need to leave where I am at…I do not have the slightest clue how much a Clinic Nurse makes. Any ideas?

A friend of mine told me I should have Narcan on hand for my boyfriend who does coke sometimes. I'm firmly against it. He knows I hate when he does it and I don't want the emotional weight of carrying it around in my purse. Like, if he's going to do that, he should carry his own damn Narcan. Am the asshole? She thinks I'm being cruel since it can be lifesaving and you can get it for free.

Anyone interested in the following roles at HSBC GTC-WPB then please let me know.
Good pay. Great work culture.
The same type of role is also available for 1-3 and 3-8 years of experience.

So possibly silly refinancing question: my understanding of refinancing is that if interest rates lower, you basically start a new mortgage with a new bank at lower rates and pay off your old mortgage. With this, there's some closing costs associated.

Assuming your old bank doesn't want to lose your business (aka, interest payments), why don't they offer to simply reduce the interest rate on your mortgage to what they're currently offering customers?
