Have a what do I do scenario. I am over at publicis as a remote employee and just found out that they are starting to push people to hybrid. The only problem is that I live in Raleigh where there are no publicis offices to my knowledge. They claim I am safe because my contract is listed as remote, but I just feel that in time that is too good to be true. Im nervous about making a switch mid pregnancy though and I do love where I work. So what would you do?

Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Don’t want to drive 700 miles per week M-F. What will dual model be like going forward? 1-2 times week, 4-5 month? Seems like tax was more flexible than audit pre-Covid

I need to hear other peoples’ opinions/experiences! Do you actually work the full 40 hours a week? A lot of the time I finish my work before the end of the day and I’m not doing much for the remainder. This is part of the reason I would rather work from home. I get frustrated that I finish all my work but have to stay until I hit 8 hours just to check the box when I would rather be cleaning or doing my personal tasks. I feel like productivity should be measured instead of just time:(

Need help,I am joining @VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.

So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?

a) I've been told virtual onboarding is no longer a thing.
How many days does in-person onboarding activities occur?
b) HR Informed,"After onboarding is complete, can get perm WFH based on project or extension of WFH as IBM is flexible"
