Bain & Company Hi everyone,
I am currently working as a Software Engineer in Persistent Systems.
I have total exp of 8 months and serving notice period. I have offers from Mckinsey and BCG for their tech roles, but I wish to switch to consulting.
Could anyone please refer me or if you know someone who could refer me at Bain & Company for the Associate Consultant position?
Thank you in advance.

Amazon. Set a mental timer (2 years) and think of it like going to college away from home. Your options after 2 years will be so much better (and much more savings).
Smart ^
If you will be depressed what is the point? If you are still getting a pay bump and you'll be happy in other role, that seems better for you.
I don’t think you can guarantee that the FS job would have chill lifestyle. If you took that job and ended up working long hours anyway, you’d be pissed
Interviewer said most people knock off around 5:30. I was shocked.
lonely and depressed in my mid thirties in a city where I have never even been thousands of miles away from those I love. Plus I hear amazon’s culture is 💩. But it’s SO much money and would look amazing on my resume.
Never heard financial services and WLB in the same breath before... I'd go with Amazon... Cash in and jump jobs again if you can't keep up.... With Amazon on your resume your options after will be endless!
Yeah don't think of it in terms of just prestige and money. I prefer to factor in impact and interest in the work. Amazon seems like there would provide more opportunity to create impact and the work sounds cool!
Agreed the role has legs
What is the role btw
amazon
What cities are they both in? If you have to move, which city would you be happier in?
