Yes. I typically ask for feedback and that came up once as a point of note. Could have just been one interviewers perspective. IMO better to be over confident than under confident. I didn’t change my strategy much.
Confidence in you abilities is a must. But confidence to be the best on their team when it’s all new to you can be a red flag

Jobs make up anything to reject you if they like someone else better.
If its a recurring theme then think about it as a problem but if not don’t dwell too much. What one job says is overconfidence another may see as strong leadership, driven, takes initiative etc. Do what fits you but pulling back on confidence can easily become not sure of yourself.
