Not always. I just feel like it's more of a cliche than anything else, at least in my experience.

I find it to be cliche as well, I have noticed it’s been a trend on Instagram reels etc. that “if a organization says they’re “family” stay away”
It depends…sometimes the “family” culture seems toxic. For instance, being asked to be loyal and overlook wrongs because we’re “family.” Extreme example - the “family” in the show Yellowstone when you get a brand and keep the family secrets to protect the family at all costs regardless of what is morally right or wrong.
Family corporations are no more toxic than your own family.
100000000000%. I always feel like when they say we are a family it is a big red flag.
Yes. It's crossing a boundary, work is work and family is family. That doesn't mean that work can't be fun, or that everyone can't get along and help each other. It just means that there's still a sense of professionalism in the relationship between employee and employer. For me it's a red flag.
Isn't that a generalization and a stereotypes???
If you have to say your family, your definitely not family
