Have you found going into the office to be helpful towards your promotion or status at work? Currently staying remote as it’s optional to go in but it feels that some people are getting on better projects in Charlotte at a B4. Am I missing out on the work culture or is it just the luck of the draw out here?

I got a promotion a year and 3 months ago, and got a pay raise 5 months ago. Could I still ask for a promotion to SAE if I have been supporting a team more as one? Promotions are hard to stab with.

I love the idea of working in venture capital or start-ups, but cannot stand the people. I find the culture extremely performative, and the people incredibly self-important.

Anyone else in the same boat?

I want to quit without a job lined up. My agency is a dumpster fire of incompetent project managers, revolving door of creatives and culture of not holding people accountable amidst a micromanaging gossipy leadership. I just want out. Tell me it is ok and will be alright.

He’s conflicted because Confluent is a more established company, ThoughtSpot is Pre-IPO.
