Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express
Cleared Accenture Skill interview by answering almost all the questions and received congratulatory mail for HR round and submitting all documents. Then after a week received a call from HR saying that due to some technical issue, the skills round will happen again and an online assessment was set up. In the assessment, questions which were not directly related to the profile were asked and then a rejection mail was received. Does this happen a lot?

It matters unless you can truly show or are known to add value on day one.
If I'm paying your recruiter 20%, you for the first month to deal with new hire on-boarding and compliance and account centralization shit then I don't want you walking out the door 11 month later.
And "while past performance is no guarantee of future performance" or patterns, it usually is.
I've passed on one of two equally qualified candidates because in the past 6 years one has moved externally zero or one times and the other five times.
Example?
Moving too often from company to company

On my 6th now actually... :P and I'm fine
Honestly I don’t think people care that much about jumps, as long as your story makes sense and you are able to show progression in your career.
