I’m an L6 SDM at Amazon but a Meta recruiter sent me an M2 sdm job description. I have all the XP I need from previous job experience but does Meta keep your same level as Amazon? Meaning if I am an L6 at Amazon am I automatically interviewing at M1 or can I jump to an M2?Amazon Facebook (Meta)

You mean by car? It’s a 4 hour trip to Vegas (no traffic). If you fly to Vegas, do it out of a smaller airport (Long Beach, Burbank) so you don’t have to deal with LAX. Once you’re in Vegas, you won’t need a car. Just Uber or take the shuttle train (driving is a pain in Vegas if it’s just to casino hop).
It looks like a short and easy drive. It's actually the longest drive of your life. Just fly.
I actually really enjoy that drive and there are some nifty places en route you can detour and see, plus it’s a good excuse to grab some in and out and listen to music. Way better than the fresh hell that is LAX where you might taxi on the runway for as long as the drive takes.
Hard to say. You should do a cost comparison between flights from vegas to lax vs. renting a car + cost of fuel. Based on how quickly gas prices are rising, would not be surprised if taking a flight would be cheaper. Then again, the drive from Vegas to LA isn’t too bad

Depends. You like driving?
You can find very cheap flights between Vegas and California. Like $50 one way (any airport besides lax would be better). A one way rental car is usually $80 a day. The drive can take twice as long if you leave at the wrong time of day (yes, 8 hours instead of 4)
