I have 2.5 years of experience as a BI consultant primarily working with SQL and Power BI. I feel a little underpaid while currently making $75k. All of my performance reviews have been positive and I have been the lead/only BI developer on two of our largest and most public projects this year. When did you know your firm wasn't right for you? I'm not sure if it's just the stress of being a new attorney with a family or if my job isn't the right fit. I work in civil litigation and am consistently below my billables. I can't stay late because my kids need me and I can't work on the weekends because I have to maintain my house and take care of my kids. I'm being constantly told to work harder, stay later, etc but it's not practical. Or am I not approaching this with the right mindset?

I'm looking for a change and want to get into a DS role. I have 1.8 years of experience at a fortune 50 retailer and I am currently a senior analyst. I also have PGDM in finance, and my skills include SQL, python, PowerBI, tableau, familiar with Knime, Alteryx and also PySpark. I have done a DL project (CNN) in my master's dissertation and also have done projects with Regression too. I've been applying to companies via LinkedIn but not receiving any call back. Other than MAANG, which companies are good for the data scientists in India (both product and service)? Good in terms of project complexity, rigor of analytical approach, scale of problems, implementation opportunities, usage of latest tech stack, innovation, mlops best practices etc.

Just saw that Airbnb's salary range for a 2+ years experience Data Scientist in US is 129k -180k USD.
In INR its 95L- 1.4cr. But in India do they pay even 30L to 4 years yoe?
Last year I saw such salary range for 4+ yoe in US. But in India its yet to increase.
In this quarter these companies have started negotiating in the name of US recession. Irony is salary range didn't decrease in the place where the recession is supposed to occur.
