Hello all. I have been a faculty before joining the industry. Was doing well in faculty role but the money was a big issue. I left the role to join an industry n within few months, faced a layoff. I am not mad at myself since this was a conscious decision. I have been applying for jobs like crazy but the market seems really tight. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. At this point you're just like arrrrrrgh😩
