At the same time, I have cleared two rounds with Deloitte, with the final client round pending (client: Nomura)

In case I receive offers from both organizations, I would like to understand which option would be more suitable for a long-term perspective.

Have asked for 30-35% hike on CCTC.
On bench in PwC since Jan 26

How do PPMDs make sure when you are replacing an incumbent, you don't get handed down a broken system ? What sort of knowledge transfer and contractual framework do you get the client to agree to and how do you negotiate on that? I feel clients are not always honest and hide a lot of landmines which a consulting company can walk into and blamed for it.

I have a new direct report who’s at producer level and needs a lot of hand holding. I’ve been her manager for 6 months and she has yet to do anything without me telling her. Like at the start of a project she doesn’t immediately meet w creatives, work on costs/budget etc. She’s self described as ‘shy’ but doesn’t take initiative. She needs help responding to emails. Are ppl worried about being on the bench esp when there aren’t a lot of projects in the pipeline? New hire here about to be up for staffing for the first time and sentiment at my firm seems to be worried/fearful about being unstaffed. Is it actually worrisome to be on the bench in this environment or is this just a product of highly ambitious over achievers worrying about not being constantly utilized?

M&A associates: is it normal for first years to have only same-day tasks? I have not been given a task that wasn’t due either ASAP or by that night in weeks. If this is the norm, do you recommend any other (more predictable) transactional practice groups?

I know that some other associates at my level are approximately 30% behind other associates in hours on a month to month basis. Yet all of these associates say they are “at capacity”, and myself and another associate still end up being assigned work instead of them. How do we handle this? For reference, all associates are around the firms minimum requirement, it’s just that a few of us are 30+% over and it is leading to burnout.

Presently working in EY as AM. Total YOE 6.2yrs. Got selected in Deloitte at Manager level. Please suggest the Compensation (range) that I may demand:
Present Package - 19.5L (fixed)
Variable - 10-15% (Would be pro rated to 8months)
Joining bonus - 1L
Not sure about variable payout but will have to let go off the joining bonus and hike for sure.

I answered few and quite I was not sure of answers. She gave feedback like my communication and confidence level is good and project wise I'm having good knowledge and coming to concept wise it's not upto the mark for experience.
