Hi,
I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.
Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.

Hi! Congrats on your new role! The number one thing I recommend is establishing a rapport with your team. People over processes is the mantra in scrum. Ask questions. See what has worked. See what hasn’t and why. Don’t be afraid to be vulnerable. Sponge up as much knowledge as possible from your subject matter experts and your stakeholders. And remember agility. Rules and processes help, but adapting to your situation is the primary skill.
Thanks for replying! Yes, I was thinking along the same lines. As far as I understand everyone joining the team are external hires, I'm the only member joining from within the company, so I had already in my mind that I would spend some time to see what their experience with scrum were and facilitate getting everyone to know each other. As in my own personal experience if the team like eachother they will work better together..
Take the time to define the terms you use. In my experience 4 people say they’ve worked in Agile and they had 4 different experiences
Do you think you can put a referral in for another entry level scrum master role?
