Hello! Been considering looking at google in the last 2 years. Im currently in AWS as an L6 SA for 2.5 years, looking to do the same in Google. Hows the interview process? Anyone knows how it compares to AWS? Curious if anyone has thoughts on that kind of a move.

Hi guys, Received break up offer letter from bosch, CTC 19 lpa ( fixed 16lpa), asked 22 lpa,Level 52. I have 3 days to respond.

My current CTC is 6lpa and have no offer letter.

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. Received a verbal offer/commitment from the engineering team 3 weeks after my interview process. Still sitting and waiting (1.5 weeks) to have the conversation about compensation expectations and finalizing the offer. Is the Google hiring process typically this slow? Currently at Meta (working as a Program Manager) and considering accepting a role with Disney Streaming to support the scaling of Disney+. My dream however is to eventually work at Google. Would my application be considered more interesting coming straight from Meta or would diversified experience with Meta and Disney+ be better? Would love to hear perspectives on this! Thanks.

Wrapping my head around the equity piece of an offer. Is the equity you are granted in dollars converted to shares right away? So if the stock goes up or down, the totally dollar amount in equity granted when you sign might not be what you actually get over the first four years?

Does Google value FAANG experience over consulting? Say if a person is trying to get into Google from Apple, will it be considered easier?
