I am in TCS since Jul19 as a fresher... my experience so far is good...though as an ETL developer my work has become monotonous...I cleared DCA last year and getting a decent salary...I have already done couple of Associate level Azure Certifications...

I have to look after my parents and the only thing I fear is if I switch...I won't be able to take care of them...as WLB would be screwed...

I'm not sure whether I should switch or not?

I've been struck with the feeling my company, a small Fintech, prioritize the +8y/o experienced professionals rather than the hard working ones. Nothing new here, the ambient seems ok on the surface but everyone tries to steal your job and important tasks.

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.

Whats the difference between KPMG India vs KPMG Global Services (KGS)? I couldn't find much answers in Internet except KGS handles backend work. Also there are many negative reviews about KPMG global services in India does it applicable for Technology side as well? And is there any difference in payscale and benefits between these two? I am with 15 years experience in same company with 18lpa.
- 7 years of exp in project management and it's delivery.
- Recent 3 years experience as product manager.
Now I am actively looking for a company switch. But not able to find great opportunity for product manager comparatively for a project delivery roles as project manager or account manager.

HCL - 16 LPA with 15% variable, Bangalore
Infosys - 19.39 LPA with 15% variable, Bangalore but permanent WFH as HR told, not sure if this actually happens. Please confirm this if anyone is aware
