Hello folks!! does anyone know till when credit Suisse will continue WFH? And does this company provide permanent WFH?

Hi All I got selected for TCS recently and 4th July is my joining date. I was selected for 15 LPA. My concern is i have a small kid who is 10 month old and i dont want to leave her to maids. I am getting higher package offers like Nagarro permanent wfh. But i am hearing that Tcs will be good for WLB and less work stress. Is this true? Because i am little bit stresseful that permanent wfh options may be very hectic. Kindly guide me in this regards.

If I’m honest, I don’t want COVID to end because I really enjoy working from home. I get a lot more done, and I can see my family and pets and neighbors… It isn’t easier. It’s just better. My friend is quitting at FCB because they are forcing them to come back 3 days a week. That gives me anxiety that I’ll be forced back soon at Publicis. Anyone else feel this way?

I miss dressing like I care about how I look.; but have no desire to change it up. Between working from home (staggered 3 days wfh 2 in office; reverse the next week) in sweats or pjs and meetings and court being on Zoom, I have no motivation to dress. I don’t even do my hair - wash and throw it up in a messy bun. Anyone else?

A friend just kicked out of dental school because she refuses to get the COVID-19 vaccine. She claims her family has suffered “adverse affects” from the vaccine and is afraid to get it. What have you done to convince someone you love to get the vaccine? I hate watching her throw away her career because of something as trivial as getting a vaccine.

If my company is ok with a half remote schedule (2 weeks in office, 2 remote), what are my best options if I want to spend my remote weeks away from the city with family? Airbnb or something like that? Or just get a cheap rental?

Anyone else working a full time job wfh with a toddler? How do you manage to stay afloat? I have a 19 month old and I’m working full time as a product manager. I have help from 1 grandparent which allows us to work. But I feel the working mom guilt where I feel like a B player (maybe a D player) in both work and as a mom. frankly the product management job is pretty stressful. Husband is doing a startup and earning nothing, while we have savings it doesn’t seem like quitting is an option.

Anyone ever worry if the remote positions that we get contacted for by “external” or even “internal” recruiters/hr can be scams? Been in contact with one and seeing a few flags.

I am really starting to lose my patience with the WFH conversation. I understand that some roles can be completely executed at home, but our office manager just complained that 3 days per week starting in September is too much for them. Their entire job is based around our physical space but all these NYT op-eds about how WFH is the only way has sparked entitlement.

I got an interview link and notification of the interview only an hour before the interview was supposed to happen.
