Hello friends! My colleagues and I are TA partners for the IT/Digital IT orgs at our company and we are looking to find more unique ways to boost DEI hiring, specifically women in tech. Does anyone have any job boards or networks they use that they've been successful in hiring more women in high level technical roles (Sr. Manager+)?

I’ve suffered from workaholism for a long time. Thanks to a lot of great self help books and therapy, I’m no longer putting work on a pedestal and I’m spending a lot more time on self care and my marriage. But, unfortunately, I am now getting withdrawals, because my body is used to the daily adrenaline of throwing myself into work. It’s this terrible feeling of like anguish/unease in my gut, but I don’t have anything I’m worried about- it’s like my body wants to find something to worry about.

Can someone explain what’s a culture day and how do you take it?

Has anyone dealt with a lack of praise from attorneys? I'm not someone who needs to hear "good job" all the time, but we just got a huge deal closed that I worked really hard on and had a lot of overtime. Hi fishes, my friend recently had a bitter experience with Dish Network. So her profile was shortlisted and they asked few questions over email. It did take good 2hrs to answer and she replied back. HM said we are good to go for interview and sent an invite. On the day of interview nobody turned up, neither they gave an update later. She did follow up for a couple of days but no response. Is there any reason why this happens ? Me being in HR field felt this to be a little unprofessional.

Hello! I’m a Talent Acquisition Manager at a 300 FTE sized gov contractor with 2 recruiters under me. One of my recruiters and I are both having babies in August and will be out for 12 weeks. She’s only coming back part time. My leadership already said no to hiring another full time recruiter. Has anyone had any good experience with contract recruiters? I'm not super happy in tech-specific recruiting and find it a lot more laborious than other verticals. We really struggle to find qualified candidates who are also willing to accept starting salaries and more equity. Sometimes I want to move away from this. Has anyone else felt this way?
