Hey there! It's extremely difficult to get a CRC position as your first role directly involved in clinical research, even if you have healthcare experience prior. I would recommend looking for clinical research assistant positions to start. CRCs are sometimes advertised as an entry level role, but most companies won't entertain it, even if the job postings say so.
For finding an assistant role, or even a CRC role for that matter if you decide to keep trying, I would recommend networking on LinkedIn. Connecting with recruiters that specifically look for research-related roles can be very helpful. The same goes for following up with recruiters who have posted jobs (apply and then follow up). If you have some specific companies in mind that interest you, I would go to their LinkedIn pages and search their page for individuals who have or have had the role you're looking for. Connect with them, reach out, and maybe they can provide some insight on what their company looks for in new hires.
Thank you for you reply! I forgot to mention that I have experience as a research assistant.
I tried contacting a CRC who works for the company I am most interested in, it helped me get an interview. Now crossing my fingers 😊
