Short Intro about myself, i have completed my M.Tech in solid state devices but my interest is in Analog Circuit domain. Through campus placements i got placed into a startup as a Hardware/Firmware Developer. But it didn't suit me so i left the job.
Currently i am looking for Analog Circuit Design profile, but as a fresher i am finding it too difficult to get a job. There are many openings for Analog Engineers but only for experienced candidates.
How can i get into industry now?

Anyone here who made the exit from Big 4/MBB consulting to a VC? If so, I’d love to hear about how the experience is so far. (Not to mention the WLB and comp!) I’m considering a career change but have no one in my network I can go to for insights. Thx! 🙏🏾

Any in-house antitrust counsel willing to offer up some advice? I just started in a firm's well-regarded antitrust group. What do I do over the next few years to make myself most marketable to move in-house? And when is that move actually feasible/ideal for antitrust specialists?

Seems like I can pull work from the whole discipline (merger clearance, civil lit, criminal) — should I spread myself across all of it to maximize my skillset/marketability?

The CW that I’d work the longest with (for about 3 years) had just being promoted to ECD on a big cool shop after very good run. Meanwhile I was just promoted to ACD at an OK medium shop after a very torturous run that almost made me quit ad life for good.

Just got another rejection... Is exiting to FAANG or MB really this hard? Trying to go tech.. or mbb, but not getting anywhere. Interviewed with Google, Amazon, Cisco, McKinsey, and a few others and every-time there is something that is not a match... are the hiring managers looking for like 100% match? That will never happen!!!

Hi!! I’m an HR Coordinator currently (about two years of experience) but my job has so many responsibilities and tasks I’m beyond burnt out. It’s truly impossible to focus on one task because things are constantly being thrown my way. I’ve heard whisperings of a promotion or raise, but my workload is already too much, I don’t know if I’d want to accept more responsibility. Is it normal to feel like you have just as many responsibilities as your superiors who make 30k+ more than you?

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. Is it a norm to send a thank you note through your recruiter? I had an iffy interview, and wondering if I bother sending a thank you note. It was very clear that they were trying to do a stress interview so I feel weird saying the usual nice things.

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?
