I have switched from 12 LPA to 26 LPA on feb 2022 as my first switch with IC role as ETL developer . Now looking for data architect role. Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. Just saw that Airbnb's salary range for a 2+ years experience Data Scientist in US is 129k -180k USD.
In INR its 95L- 1.4cr. But in India do they pay even 30L to 4 years yoe?
Last year I saw such salary range for 4+ yoe in US. But in India its yet to increase.
In this quarter these companies have started negotiating in the name of US recession. Irony is salary range didn't decrease in the place where the recession is supposed to occur.
