Hello ladies, I have my own company (small business) and we excel at what we do but I struggle with the ghosting culture that is rampant in the corporate world. As small vendors/ contractors we spend so much time chasing after our clients (leads & contracted) down to having to chase after payment. We would have totally normal email conversations and then nothing, nada, crickets? I find this extremely difficult to manage, quite demoralizing and frankly a bit rude. Anyone else?

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks.
