Can someone refer me to VMware
Hi Infosys guys, I have cleared one technical interview and got email for further round which is planned for tomorrow. Email mentions that this is a telephonic interview, is this supposed to be an HR round discussing salary or another tech round.

Promotion and more money is always the choice
That’s what my brain told me haha
Absolutely. Many people leave agencies for reduced roles and compensation brand direct… you really have a golden ticket in front of you!
Appreciate it!
Yes. The older you get, the more important the money is. Why would you stay? You can go back and they’ll prob take you back at a higher salary. Why are you staying?
If they don’t have a clear succession for you, and it’s been awhile, plan to leave.
DONT DO IT THAT IN HOUSE JOB SHOULD BE MINE
You’ve got to bet on yourself at some point. I had to do a similar move years ago. Probably haven’t found a place quite as fun since, but I’m in a much better spot career wise and a much healthier spot life/financial situation.
On the topic, why is it so hard to get a raise internally?
I’m sick of the system- so many don’t promote from within and hire at more $ than they do if they finally do promote. They make you beg and plead to get a title that matches what you’re already doing and god forbid you ask to be compensated for that.
But when they find a candidate with multiple offers they get rock hard and are happy to get into a bidding war.
It will never change. Once they “have you” they think you’ll never leave.
Just leave. The game won’t change. Look out for number 1.
Amen
I took the job 👏👏👏
Congratulations!
Absolutely go for it. If it’s not a super creative place, fill that cup up outside of office hours. Enjoy the $$, the freedom and the stability! 🙏
Yes
Why? Please elaborate
Leave the agency. But, don’t just settle on the place you’re going to. Unless you want to stay in-house after this or it’s a particularly creatively driven in-house agency, try to find another agency first. Otherwise, it might be hard to make the transition back.
My passion project is job security when I’m real old… like 40+
Yes, do it!!

Why do you work?
I’m too paranoid to say 😆 but they have a lot of backslashes in their name
