HELP: Went through the final round of interviews recruiter said the team liked me and I got all “yes’s” to join the team… I just needed to talk to the hiring manager’s boss. Fast forward to a convo with the hiring manager he says he has all positive feedback and then my recruiter goes on vacation… she returns on Monday but said her colleague would contact me if there are any updates…it’s been radio silent for almost two weeks now. I fear I’ve been forgotten. WWYD?

A parent of one of my students told admin she thinks it's irresponsible that I won't be grading over Christmas break. I’m a non-TX immigration attorney mentoring a UT student who went to my undergrad. He’s done incredibly well in OCI and pre-OCI. Happened to me with Mindtree recruiter, for an IoT leadership position where the interviewing VP chose to no show twice… after which I thanked the recruiter that I was impressed by their book of busi-ness and that it was intimidating to be thinking about the prospect of working for Mindtree… as I’m too incapable for those performance standards… 😂😂

For context - I worked as a quota-carrying AE at a tech startup before graduating undergrad and coming to consulting (current BA).
