Hey all - I wanted some help assessing my chances at a consulting firm. Out of college, I worked with a consulting firm performing roles in analytics sales and delivery. I did that for 2 yrs before moving to a startup where I was a part of an enterprise wide data migration and reorg project. I worked with the CSuite on the delivery of that one. 1.5 years later I am working as an internal healthcare analytics consultant. Do you think my profile is okay enough to be an analytics consultant?

How useful is having worked with the PE practice (deal strategy, CDDs, etc.) of a consulting firm vs any other one when trying to break into PE? I understand it's probably better to come from such units but I wanted to understand in which ways it helps. Is it actually irreplaceable skills vs understanding of sector dynamics vs pure prestige?
