Second Charlotte Shout as excuse to stroll thru uptown & talk to artists.
Charlotte Beer Garden is a great place to see our city's business creatures.
Since you're staying in Noda, make sure to check out Lang Van. It's a little piece of the Charlotte I grew up in, and an excellent Vietnamese restaurant.
Freedom Park is an absolutely beautiful (and free) experience and not to be missed. You'll see lots of locals and their dogs!
Also, make sure to check out the events at the Bechtler Museum http://m.bechtler.org/mobile/events/ they have awesome jazz nights in the gallery, something I feel is a unique Charlotte experience. PM me if you are looking for more suggestions!
So helpful! Thank you for the extra personal and local touch 😄
Eat dinner at supper land if it’s not too late to get a rezy.

Thirsty Beaver is the best known dive bar on Central. It’s what small bars in the south used to be full of 80s kitch & nascar memorabilia. Small, chill & fantastic jukebox. Moo n’ Brew across the street if you’re hungry.
You guys are amazing. So far have been to Smelly Cat for coffees, Amelia’s French baker for a quick treat, Midwood smokehouse, Idlewild, and Haberdish. Every single thing we’ve experienced has been incredible 😄

Zada Jane's if you need breakfast tomorrow
Dandelion Market in Uptown! Great food during a happy hour or dinner and then turns into a fun nightlife bar on the weekends
If you have time check most of the major areas people tend to live in near the city.
Noda were you are staying, eat and drink at almost anywhere there, lots of good vibes, the best restaurants will need reservations but others are still solid
Plaza Midwood more good vibes as well, try a beer at legion and check out common market across the street. My favorite plaza establishment is moo and brew, no reservation needed.
South end most popular neighborhood by far but the most places to drink and eat. Try any of the breweries there, walk along Camden st. Most sundays there are some sort of flea market style shops on Sunday morning.
Don’t really bother with uptown other than strolling through. Some decent restaurants but doesn’t help you understand what Charlotte has to offer

No problem love, I love introducing the city to people. It’s a big dog city here so the pups are very welcome!
Growlers pourhouse in Noda is a great local bar with top notch bar food. Favorite place in noda
Might I ask where you’re moving from and what interests you most about Charlotte?
Yeah! Moving from DC. The big draw to Charlotte would be the finance career opportunities, being significantly more affordable than DC, better weather. It seems to check all of our boxes 😊
Haberdish in noda is a great place to go just make reservations ahead of time. Or good year house
Looks so nice and fun
Try Queen City Grounds for coffee tomorrow. It’s my daily coffee shop and my favorite in the city!
Just tried it! Really great Latte
The whitewater center is great and worth visiting
It looks awesome! Thank you
I would say the whitewater center but the the weather isn't really cooperating...
