I’ve put myself up for L4 promo this cycle. Assuming I get it, what would be the best next steps to optimize for long-term growth/TC?
My understanding is that L5->L6 is extremely painful at Google. It may be easier to leave for a handful of years and gain managerial experience before returning.
L4->L5 is less challenging; however, I’m under the impression I can do this quicker at another company (if I leave after being freshly promo’d) AND get higher TC.

Hi, folks I am working as market research analyst at a startup company for last 9 months. Currently I am feeling work is kinda boring and also there is no scope for growth and learn new things in the company. Is it's better work at the same company to gain some experience or leave company and join MBA course so that I will get better placement in big companies where I can learn new things.

Where have you applied? I have no degree, no certs, but in my experience, they didn’t care about that and just looked at my YOE (10). This isn’t a brag but I really believe it’s largely dependent on what industry you’re applying to. So if you’re getting rejected bc of no agile experience, then perhaps look at industries that don’t even require that which may mean looking outside tech.
What about PM roles at Lockheed’s competitors? 😅
Have you thought about DASM Cert? Not the best answer but it’s an option. It’s sucks that you have those creds and exp but they’re so worried about Agile. Most “traditional” projects are agile in some way anyway.
Yeah. Maybe look into LinkedIn Learning or PMI options for DASM or even Scrum would maybe apply / be more fiscally achievable. The. You can at least show training and knowledge of how to apply principles
