Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Don’t want to drive 700 miles per week M-F. What will dual model be like going forward? 1-2 times week, 4-5 month? Seems like tax was more flexible than audit pre-Covid

I interviewed at KPMG on 11/14 and got a verbal offer the next day but since then waiting to hear from them. Been following up continuously but the partners are not replying it seems. In the meanwhile i have an offer from BT offering 90k for 4 yrs of experience which seems to be fair. I am just unsure whether to accept the offer as I was waiting for kpmg reply as I want B4 on my resume which apparently is a big deal. Is BT also good on resume for future employers ??

I lateraled into a niche practice group in Sept 2021. I also have a 1 year old and have been mostly remote since I started - but have been keeping busy tracking towards 2400-2500 hours. Got a GRE score of 320 (162V 158Q). Did my masters from A&M (full scholarship, 3.8 GPA, journal publications. Have been working as a consultant for a small tech consulting firm for the past 1 year and was considering a MBA + Law or Public Policy masters dual degree program. My scores are still valid for atleast 1 year. Aiming for M7 or Oxbridge in Europe. Would using this GRE score be realistic for the school given I've just 1 YOE and my quant was lower.
