Not a question per se but make sure to get all of the offer details in writing and look them over to make sure they match what you were told
I always ask about the WLB. Not that they're always honest, but I do like to ask.
Not a question per se, but always tell them before accepting if you have any vacation time planned for the year and get in writing that it’s not an issue (make sure your new manager is ok with that; I’ve seen HR forget to pass that kind of info along and it can be a problem later).
Make sure you ask all about benefits; 401(k) and when you can start contributing, when/if/how much they contribute and when that vests. What is the vacation policy, after how many years do you get additional time off. If you’re thinking of starting a family at some point, what is the maternity/paternity leave.
Also ask to see info about their healthcare/vision/dental and the costs associated with it. I’ve seen a big range for individuals of $40-150 per paycheck (or employer covering all costs), and it definitely swayed me towards some companies and away from others
Following because I’m in the same boat 🙃
