Spent Associate I and II at Deloitte, Senior I at Grant Thornton in NYC. I have an MBA in Accounting and MS in Data Analytics. Dont have a CPA and dont intend to get one. I want to pivot away from audit. Can everyone chime in to what roles i can look at to make more than 100k in Orlando? Would really help.

Do most firms start reporting years in September or January? Prior firm did an August year for counting hours and then another did January (both Amlaw 200). Looking at an Amlaw 100 to lateral in the fall (so trying to anticipate how much of the year I’ll have). I’ll ask what bonus/reporting year but just curious if most follow the same.

I received a verbal offer for a VP position at CCB line of business at JPMC in NYC two weeks ago. The recruiter asked for salary expectations but there was no number set. Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range. I am trying to avoid wasting all of our time if i get to the last interview and they are expecting a salary that is too low for me.
