Working in a large health system as a quality professional WFH. I rarely see anyone else on my team, and when I do present findings I see no changes happening. I went through six rounds of interviews including putting together a 30 minute presentation which I presented to the whole team. The whole process took about six weeks. I turned down another lead position at a different company waiting. After all that they told me that hiring for this role was on hold until further notice. At the end of the day it’s business, but I am left feeling like I wasted my time (and theirs.)Totally confused and disheartened by this process. Anyone else experiencing this?

Anybody else have a desire to bill more hours on a project than you actually work when the project itself is incredibly frustrating? In agency and/or freelance? Because let’s be real, 1 hour of standard work does NOT equal 1 hour of work when someone makes your job incredibly difficult.
