Main reason: Growth stalled - promotion delayed as seniors aren't rolling off, and I'm not getting mapped to other projects either.
Other factors:
- Peers earning 3-4L more - not a concern
- Constant pressure to outperform and stay visible.
- Unnecessary feedbacks
Got offers from ZS's key competitors
(~40LPA, ZS Manager-level). Worth moving? Anything I should consider?

For getting promotion who take the main decision? Manager, Supervisor or HR?

Would you consider a 3% raise sufficient when the inflation is at 9.06% in the U.S? I feel completely undervalued and just wanted feedback on whether this is reasonable.

Should I stay at a company I know I like culture-wise when my manager said they will try to promote me, but with no guarantee. Or should I take a job offer I was given with a nice raise, but is in consulting at Slalom. I have not worked in consulting before. There is no travel with Slalom, but the idea of being the new person all the time isn’t too appealing. Less pay and known culture, or more pay unknown job satisfaction?

For everyone asking how much hike can we expect at this rating(vc/hc/ec), please understand the below points:
1. Rating is only applicable on variable pay
2. Hike % is independent of the rating
3. Hike depends on a lot of factors like your current salary, how is it comparable to the market or the level you are in, do you have a progression/promotion, etc

One of my top talents just put in his two weeks notice and I had nothing to offer him to stay. I told upper management this was going to happen! Advice: my firm incentivized associates to get licensed in fed courts - 4 fed courts for a 5k raise. They also covered the admission fee. Hi-I have 120K in cash in HYSA. After keeping emergency fund aside. Still have 75-80K available that I plan to invest. After 401k, HSA, IRA and monthly expenses: we are left with 6K every month. So investing 12K every month in market. My worry is with that rate - it will take us 12-14 months to move the extra 75-80K mentioned above. However do not want to make a bulk move.
