Hey Fishes - I’m trying to move back from US to the gulf. KSA, UAE, or Qatar. Interviewed with a smallish consulting company but they decided my profile was more senior for the role. Applying online didn’t get me good salary.

Hi,
I am looking to learn more about the NPI program manager role at Apple. Specifically want to understand the following:
1. What's exactly the day to day beyond the fluff job post?
2. What skills will be considered critical to be successful in the role?
3. How is success defined in the role?
4. What does the career progression look like?
5. What background is considered desirable for this role? Can one get into this role without prior background in NPI?
Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. I was approached by a recruiter for a role as Senior Associate (Audit) at Grant Thornton Dubai. I'm not based in Dubai. What is the Salary range for a Senior Audit Associate in the UAE,Dubai specifically? It will be really helpful for my negotiation. Glassdoor is giving varied answers.Grant Thornton
The regional consulting market is booming . 15 years is too much for most roles as SM. Tweak your CV and consider joining as sub contractor making your way to permanent job .
Thank you for the tips. I’ll edit my CV. Joining as a contractor will be difficult as I already have a full time. No guarantees on amount of work or moving to full-time after. Thanks for the tips.
DM me your cv.

Why move back? Wouldn’t it be lower comp?
@MK in my research pay is sometimes higher other times lower in the US for same company. But reduced cost of living especially rent and lower taxes makes it a better deal to work abroad. You dont pay the same taxes as an american expat. You actually start paying above 100k per year and only federal.
I got an exact same role in a company here in chicago and saudi arabia, and only based on the tax and rent savings I would make 25% more to move abroad. But the salary for that particular role wasnt what I’m expecting.
Curious to know the salary for an SM role in the Middle East in usd?
