I spoke to AP about their cyber practice a few years ago. Their cyber strategy was poor back then - short term goals for how to create value were weak and their longer term plans were even worse. Looking at their firm now....I don't see how cyber fits into APs long term strategy. If I were going to guess....cyber is a short term money grab....I'd be willing to bet that it disappears or gets near zero investment once the leads figure out that they don't want to do tech work

We have a new head of cyber (who is awesome) and have shifted the strategy quite a bit. BAH, AP culture is great. Smart people, a really big focus on getting things done, atypical delivery model and a different value proposition for clients.

SVP would be my best guess. Culture is fantastic, excellent WLB and actual recognition that employees are human beings is the norm. High standards for performance, but rewards appropriate to those expectations. Everyone I know is happy at AP.

Agree with AP2. Generally speaking, BAH will have MUCH better WLB. But comp will be higher at Alix. What do you prefer, OP, quality of life or $ ?

@ap3. In that case ....excited to see what the future brings for you guys

Digital, instead of EI, would be a good fit for you. The business unit is growing quite rapidly and not as big as EI, so might be a good place to explore

I’ve been through 5+ weeks of interviews with a company that will IPO next year and they did a bait and switch on me with the offer: it was advertised as “Head of” and then during the offer-walk-through-meeting today they said “oh btw we changed the title to ‘Senior Manager’ for this role”. They offered me a salary I made 4 years ago as a manager. They offered stock options with an exercise price TBD 1 year from now…which is when they’re hitting IPO. Is that normal for stock options?
