I need to pay bond amount to my HCL but they are not giving me any acount number to pay money. They hold my experience letter and relieving letter.
What will be the complications if I also don't bother asking their account details.
The relieving letter was available earlier in their portal but now it is not there. I guess there was a glitch or error that time. But I don't have experience letter.
Also, if I need to get account details and experience letter, whom to reach out.
Hi fishes, I have resigned 3 days after the bonus communication day. As soon as i resigned, my bonus as well as new increment got revoked without any notification. So when i checked they said you should not be on NP before actual payment of bonus & first salary with new increment. I can understand for increment but bonus is paid for last year performance. That's great, stick to your words and these companies will be filtered automatically out who are not ready to give your expected salary.
If you are in need of changing the job due to toxic work culture then reconsider your expected salary.
Thnx
Sometimes peer interviewers reject good candidates due to jealousy. So common. Managers are clueless about this in many cases.thats why i would request managers to send senior folks for interview nd not peers
indeed
Rising Star
Don't tell exaggerated expectations.
Like if you say from 20 you want 35 LPA, they might reject because getting approval from 20 to 35 is difficult.
It's almost 75% jump in salary.
If you say 30,they'll think about it. It's 50% hike.
If you have an offer of 30 and ask 35, they'll still be OK with it, since you are asking hike on 30, but they'll ask if you have one offer why are you searching for another.
They also need to get approval from management as why this candidate deserve so much hike and why are they hiring them.
Also, if company is very good, they'll give the package you asked, your technical round should be strong.
Then there are other factors, like your notice period, if there are other candidates who cleared the round and asked for lower salary, etc.
True
Cannot comment across industry - but many organisations are shifting part of the negotiation to the project team (manager) to cut unnecessary delay and the project can decide whether the candidate will meet the budget. And the managers may in turn ask the technical person, if senior, to get an inkling to speeden up/reduce their work. While this may or may not be an approved process - sometimes one can guess if person is senior tech person or just a mid/junior level themselves, in which case it is more likely they are themselves playing the fool. But if it's a senior person like tech lead, it is quite possible that they have been asked to filter candidates based on pay. But usually hr or manager does get details up front - so can't say..
Technical interviewer has no right to ask your current and expected ctc. Some of them are just jealous of laterals of higher packages than them and hence reject. If they ask, u say current is 3 and expected is 3.5 lpa
Chief
You are getting rejected because your salary is more then the interviewer. Those are narrow minded people.
Interviewer have no right to ask your salary, of you don't believe me just cross check by this method.
Irrespective of your actual salary lets say 10LPA, tell them that your current is 6LPA and tell the interviewer you are expecting 30% hike. You will see if you answered well you will pass.
Rest assured you will get what you asked with HR and and at what the HR agreed and scheduled interviews even if its 100% hike.
HR and the interviewer are never going to discuss your salary with each other unless its manager, in manager round always tell true salary and expectations.
Make the narrow minded interviewer happy by telling salary lower than him irrespective of your actual salary
So true
Dont agree with that fully. You can choose to gamble by stating random numbers but it may backfire, if the numbers you say happen to get conveyed to the manager who may either laugh over it and ignore or simply reject saying attitude problem.
Also depends if the interview just over phone or in person or video call. If a person is willing to ask over a recorded video call, then it is likely an authorised question.
And sometimes interviewers play the fool only when they have already rejected the candidate just to mess with their head - have seen my colleagues do that when i was younger and was quite irritated with him but could not tell him on his face and to be frank i did have a chuckle but told him not to do it next time.
If you are not comfortable, openly state that you are expecting as per market standards and say % percentage more than my current salary and are willing to discuss based on what can be offered , observe if they are still insistent on asking - someone playing the fool may back off at this point.
