I gave 4 rounds of interview for Manager 1 but the final decision was that I am unable to raise the bar. The recruitment coordinator asked me if he can keep my details or share my details to his colleagues so that they can check if I fit in some other role in future. Any idea about the cool off period?Amazon

Thought this was interesting. Across 160 teams of researchers, just about all failed to make good life outcome predictions on things like GPA, evictions, layoffs, and others. Data followed 4.5k families across 15 years, with 13k features (varied over time). Haven't looked at it directly yet, but will be turning the docs and data inside out... In the meantime, authors claim this as showing the limits of ML. Oh, and it's published in PNAS, so you know there's some big publication energy there.

Wipro does data analytics? News for me. Anyway, surprised Wipro/tcs/infosys/L&T etc would pay you a dime without moving heaven and hell to staff you on some project. What does HR have to say about this? Have you contact some delivery leads/managers to see if they have a need?
We didn’t have an HR until recently. However, when she started that was the first thing we told her, about the work environment and morale being affected by the availability (or lack there of) of projects.
