I was offered a contractor role (~20 hours a week) at 90/hour. This is extremely attractive because it’ll double my income (and the tax deductions from 1099 are solid). With that being said, I also want to see what kind of conflicts I can see given that I’m at a B4 firm.

Once you get into a FAANG company, is it better to stay where you are or move around? I’m a dissatisfied with my current job but I have vesting stocks, work 9-5, and people to know and respect me. Just over 6 years in B4 financial services tax in PNW area. Mostly doing compliance work pumping out K1s and returns. Just got an industry offer at 155k 15% bonus and 100k equity (4year vesting).
