Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

I’m job hunting in Los Angeles, looking at a variety of titles (HRBP, Sr. HRBP, Manager, Sr. Manager, Director). I have 8 YOE and my SHRM-SCP. I reached my report limit on payscale.com, so I used a variety of other sites to price the roles (BLS, salary.com, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Robert Half). The problem I’m having is the huge inconsistencies between sources (there are $40k differences between some of the identified medians). (Continued…)
Hi folks
I wanted a suggestion from you all guys, I have given interview of PS and got a call for offer after interview and I denied the offer as I have received an offer from some other company, I denied coz I was not doing offer shopping or piling offers, he tried to convince me and when I didn't get convinced he said to blacklist me from PS. What to do?

This early into the process don’t talk about TC. It’s a trap
“I’d like the understand the role better before confirming my TC expectations. What is the range for the role?”
Rising Star
And "open to considering all reasonable comp packages" and etc etc just avoid giving any numbers or ranges.

You can also add, “I’m assuming you’re well aware of Deloitte’s comp ranges”, so open to discussions that include competitive total comp packages

200-350k is a good answer. That covers both level 5 and 6 starting total comps
Her question wont really impact your salary. It's about setting your expectations.
If you come in and ask for 750,000 she will respond by telling you that the role does not pay that amount and if you are willing to consider less. If you are willing to accept less - the process will continue and if you won't....then you won't waste each other's time.
Our total comp is determined by an algorithm to avoid bias. So it's not like you are anchoring higher. Also...the initial recruiter is not the main one...so she has no impact on your total comp.

Keep in mind that approximately 45% of your pay is equity based. That grows much faster than your base
When evaluating the move use a spreadsheet to determine how your total comp will be are seeing 15-25% increases in your equity
