But currently in EY there are very few data science projects,l have an interview scheduled for software engineer ml in Google and have completed a round in fractal. Microsoft will release the offer by next week. I'm not 100% confident that I can crack the google interview.so If i go for a support role now, can i back to development in sometime.? So I had been working as medical interpreter up to the early part of this year. Today, during an interview, the Director with whom I was interviewing genuinely urged me to consider pursuing a career as a PA or even attempt to go to medical school. I had considered it in passing before but today was about the third or fourth time that someone had earnestly nudged me in that direction. Has anyone here made such a career pivot before? I love working in healthcare, there’s nothing like it.

Applying to roles within the same federal agency. I know you need one year within the probationary period, but can I apply to a higher GS level? So someone I know asked HR about a boot policy. When he found out that there wasn’t one, but his boss said there was (who gave the guys $ for boots and the claimed it on his expense reimbursements as something else) the boss got mad at him for askingHR (and in trouble for the expense reimbursements) and then 2 days later laid off my friend. There appears to be no notice of bad performance and this person always was the first person on the job site ready to work. Thoughts?
