Dont count your experience on your project as inferior! I feel I develop much faster on long term engagements and am able to take more ownership/responsibility for the team’s delivery.

It also depends on your interests, you could continue with power bi or tableau if you want to go the data visualization route etc

Pick up Databricks or Snowflake as a starting point. ETL/ELT with big data isn’t going anywhere soon. Don’t just learn the tool but how things work in the background.

If you want to go far, try to aim for architecture skillset/role

I have two offers, one from Am Law 100 firm and one from Am Law 200 firm. Am Law 200 firm is offering 40K more (otherwise the firms have same hours target and, based on discussions, similar culture). I’m trying to decide between the two based on long term career prospects, both offer opportunity for NEP (not sure how realistic it is at either). Also not sure of overall earning potential down the road. Is the 40K now worth it or am I likely to make that up at the Am Law 100 firm in the future?
