What's the salary range for a director at the Gilead Sciences foundation? There is a position perfect for me, but I don't want to throw my hat in the ring if starting salary isn't $180-190k. Also, any thoughts on the stability of their philanthropic commitment? There's talk of a recession; I don't want to go private to be cute a few months later.

I can't tell much about your career and background based on your post. 3 months in is a hard window to judge a company for growth in a new industry, promotion, etc. Think about why you took the job, what sparked your interest, what drew you to the company. Does all that align with your career goals? Do you feel that you can be more assertive or take greater initiative to squeeze what you wanted out of the role or company? (i.e., you find the trainings or opportunities to attend, set boundaries with work you will/ will not accept) How long can you hold on if you try all the things and nothing shakes? Set a time frame that you'd like to see improvement like another 3-9 months and reassess what you want vs. what's in front of you.
Thanks for your response! 🤎 This definitely helps me put things into perspective to be completely honest with myself. This transition hasn't been what I expected and it is not aligning with me nor the skills that I want to utilize. I don't think my company is the best culture fit for me and I feel so unfulfilled.
